About Global Pitch

Global Pitch Russia is a pitching event in Silicon Valley for the fastest growing Russian tech startups with global potential.

Our goal is to help the most promising teams increase their visibility among top-tier US VCs and get investments for scaling to the US market.

Russian tech startups with potential for scaling to the US market can apply to participate. We encourage you to answer all the questions in the application in detail. It is free to apply to pitch and it’s also free to present in the session (if selected). The application process proceed on two rounds. Finalists of the first round will be selected on Russian Startup Go Global by IIDF (end of November 2017), second turn will held on Venture Summit hosted by Sberbank (mid of February 2018).

Deadline for applications of the first round. Experts from IIDF and Fortross Ventures will select the most promising and mature startups to move through to the next phase.

The selected teams will be invited to the pitch session at Russian Startups Go Global 2017 (RSGG’17).

The best startups will be selected by the jury at the RSGG’17 pitch session to participate in Global Pitch.

Finalists of two rounds head to Silicon Valley and prepare to pitch and network with investors, with the support of Silicon Valley experts. Travel and accommodation costs are covered for startup founders and team members (up to 2 persons).

The participants will pitch their startups in Palo Alto in front of Silicon Valley investors and receive feedback on their businesses.

Sharpen your pitch at Russian Startups Go Global 2017

The selected teams will receive valuable support in preparing their pitches for RSGG’17 to Russian and US investors and experts on November 29th. RSGG’17 is an international conference where tech startups are given the opportunity to meet foreign investors and identify opportunities for scaling abroad. Our main speakers include Brant Cooper from Moves the Needle and Marvin Liao and Sheel Mohnot from 500 Startups.

If you don’t happen to get selected to participate in the Global Pitch in Silicon Valley, don’t worry! You’ll still be able to make valuable connections and get noticed by VCs. Every participant in the RSGG’17 pitch session will get free tickets to the networking dinner with Russian and foreign investors which is held after the conference.
